Important Design Notice
Please read before performing graphic design!
- Retain ALL ORIGINAL LAYERS and document setup. Place all artwork on layer labeled "PANEL LAYER" Placed images must be at least 150 dpi at actual size.
- To see the pre-existing panels for bleed, Go to View and select Outline.
- Outline all Text.
- Save as Adobe Illustrator Creative Suite 4 or lower .ai or .eps and include all image files.
- All short runs are printed digitally.
- Some designs may incur streaking, mottling, ghosting and other undesirable effects. Some colors can also cause the same effects. The colors most likely to do this are light colors, greens, oranges, and neutral colors (shades of gray).
- To prevent undesirable effects we suggest avoiding solids, large or small, and adding "digital noise" which may help if areas of solid color cannot be avoided.
- Solid black areas should be black only, not four color process black.
- Photography prints best so we encourage you to use photos.
- In the event we need to make changes to your design in order to print, those changes will be at a very low cost of $25 (z) per hour plus the cost of shipping the proofs.
- If the desired result cannot be achieved by these alterations we will contact you.
- Most importantly, do not worry! We have printed millions of beautiful looking boxes for more than 20 years. It's just smart to work together in advance to get your clients the best possible print.
